Margarita Margarita

When the boss cracked me
Hurt my esteem and pride
When depression was hovering at large
And I was full of self doubt,
The only solace was Margarita
Margarita Margarita

When she ditched me
That bitch
When my heart cried
And I needed a shoulder to cry on
The only shoulder I got was of Margarita
Margarita Margarita

When I got tired of this rat race
When I couldn't take it no more
And the only other alternative
Was to retire to the woods
I chose Margarita
Margarita Margarita

When life seemed meaningless
And I couldn't find a purpose
To live on
I got something to live for
I got Margarita
Margarita Margarita

PS: Margarita is a wonderful cocktail I tasted yesterday at ZinQ in Dr. Vikram's party. It is tequila shaken with ice and lime juice. It was then that I composed this poem at Dora's request
